The Neurosurgery Department at Örebro University Hospital was founded in 2013. We are now moving on to the next phase by setting up a new Neurosurgery clinic in Sweden. Work up to now has been carried out at the Neurosurgery section with 3-4 senior consultant neurosurgeons who are currently looking to enlarge the team and to continue to develop this steadily expanding unit.

The position is ideal for someone who values a high degree of professional freedom and responsibility and appreciates the opportunity to be involved in shaping and developing our new Neurosurgery clinic.

Qualifications
We invite applications from neurosurgeons with at least 4-5 years clinical experience following qualification as a specialist to take up the position of consultant. It would be a merit if the successful applicant has acquired advanced neurosurgical knowledge and experience within a specialist area. In the light of the structure and ethos of the neurosurgical unit, we attach considerable importance to a proven ability to work closely and effectively with colleagues, united in a common purpose.
