ODI Medical is a Norwegian MedTech start-up company. We are developing a ground-breaking, non-invasive diagnostic platform for assessing oxygen delivery from capillaries to cells. Since oxygen delivery is a requirement for life of human cells and the most important function of the circulatory system, we believe our technology can become the first direct biomarker of circulatory function for routine clinical use.
Our product and services are currently in clinical trials, in cooperation with leading clinical research organisations in several countries across the globe.
We are a small, interdisciplinary international team, based in Oslo, working closely together for transforming great ambitions to reality. We are currently strengthening our clinical team with a Senior Medical Officer.
Competence and experience
You are a senior medical professional with clinical experience from a circulation related discipline (e.g. anaesthesiology, cardiology, cardio-vascular surgery, infectious diseases), preferably with experience from ICU work.
We expect you to be academically ambitious with a PhD within the medical field. You are fluent in English (both oral and written), preferably also in one of the Scandinavian languages.
We value international clinical experience.
We expect you to be a real team player, building on a solid personal and professional base. You are curious, driving, enthusiastic, open, and transparent and you enjoy sharing.
You are conscious of the value of a professional network within the clinical world and you are adept at establishing and maintaining efficient networks.
You will strengthen our clinical team, working closely with our Chief Medical Officer, Professor Emeritus Knut Kvernebo (cardiovascular surgeon), other members our team, as well as our national and international clinical partners.
You will take a leading role in establishing and driving clinical trials using our technology in different fields of medicine in cooperating with clinical partners, including participating in publishing the results. You will contribute in the training of clinicians and technicians in the use of the ODI technology.
You will interact with our product technology development team, and you will contribute in our soft-funding efforts.
We offer flexible work hours and market matching terms, including options for ownership. Your initial contribution may be part time. Our base is in Oslo and we expect you to join us there most of the time. Some travelling to be expected.
